You can display your plug in real time to change their settings while the music is being played. You need to toggle the option “Realtime Control” in the AU settings of Audirvāna Studio.
Is this now true when using UPNP/Ethernet? It’s an issue needing the device parameters memories ( not just EQ ) for a device use, If I have decided to shut down headphones setup upstairs and want to send my music to my Denon AVR downstairs ( non usb device even if I wanted to carry laptop around )
Last I tested plug-in change with UPNP was not possible, Would be great if it has been updated/fixed. As I see it best results are with one system connected via usb otherwise you must be ready to reconfigure for each usage scenario.
No it’s not for the moment. We will need to add a mechanism to have a delay with real time control since it’s UPnP and not a direct physical connection to the DAC.
