Après plusieurs mois d’utilisation de Audirvana Studio sur un MacBook Air 2020 M1 (MacOS 14.6.1 (Sonoma) 8Go, mon avis est très contrasté.
La qualité sonore, tant sur ma chaîne hi-fi (servie par Octavio Stream) que sur mon Octavio Maestro, est absolument géniale, au point que j’ai désormais du mal à me passer de Audirvana Studio. En revanche, si j’ai trouvé un réglage de rééchantillonnage de mes fichiers flac stockés sur NAS qui semble stable (x2 uniquement, les réglages préconisés par Octavio entraînent systématiquement une instabilité), au bout d’un temps aléatoire, la lecture s’arrête de façon récurrente et systématique, en local et quand Audirvana télécharge la musique depuis Qobuz (j’ai essayé toutes les qualités de Lossless à 192 kHz).
Dans la mesure où l’abonnement à Audirvana n’est pas bon marché, je m’interroge sur la poursuite de mon expérience. Un arrêt aléatoire de musique n’est pas acceptable pour l’utilisateur que je suis de ce player de qualité certes, mais cher.

Je viens de vérifier. C’est le cas les logiciels de mes appareils Octavio sont à jour.
Please describe your physical UPnP network configuration… We see that you are connecting via Wi-Fi… Also, please provide a screenshot of your available network devices as displayed in the Audirvāna UPnP configuration window.
… Also try changing the SoX upsampling algorithm to “Power of Two”.
From the online Help information found in the upsampling settings window:
○ Power of 2 of the native track sample rate. This will be the highest frequency allowed by the audio device for a track natively at 44.1 kHz (88.2, 176.4 or 352.8 kHz)

Non sono espertissimo, ma ormai sono almeno 3 anni che utilizzo Audirvana su mac, inizialmente ho provato delle alternative, ma alla fine ho trovato Audirvana il più adeguato alle mie esigenze, tra l’altro posso dire che il mio Atoll MS 120 è supportato alla grande!
