Release dates again

Continuing the discussion from Album release date on AS:

I didn’t get a reply to the original thread so hoping I do this time. Could of questions:

  1. Why does only some tracks have a release date next to them?
  2. Why do all release dates only have the right year and the day and month are always the same? For example, all my release dates start with 01/01/XXXX.

I’m using MusicBrainz Picard on a Mac. Tired using the musocbrainz option build into AS but it’s even more inconsistent.
