I have the remote app on my Android phone and Audirvana on my QNAP NAS.
When I open the app I get a message telling me that no computer was recognised.
The phone and the NAS are on the same network and there is no firewall between them.
I have tried reinstalling the app but it still does not work.
How do I get the app to recognise the NAS?
Other media apps on my phone recognise the NAS and I can access music stored on the NAS via these apps.
Thank you.
I have used Audirvana for Linux but not Audirvana for NAS. On Linux this can happen when avahi-daemon isn’t running. If you need help installing and running it or finding out if it’s already there, please ask.
As I mentioned I haven’t used Audirvana for NAS, and this is because I don’t have a NAS. So I would do a web search to find the answer. (I don’t think this will be difficult, which is why I have offered to help.)
But today will be busy for me, so I don’t think I will be able to get to this until tonight or possibly tomorrow or Sunday. So if you would like to try to find the answer in the meantime, either some other kind person here may offer assistance or you can use your favorite search engine and see whether an easy answer comes up. Failing either of those, I will get back to you.
I have read about it on the internet and non of it made any sense to me.
So, I removed Audirvana from my NAS and reinstalled it; everything is working as I type this.
Thank you.
Kind regards.
