New to this I am 76.Happy with the sound quality but when Kernal is used a lot of background noise.When using volume control on phone sound like its a worn out pot.Tried everything turned off anything that might cause a noise no luck.If I turn off the NUC then try again noise gone but only if I use Wasapi if I change anything noise returns.Nuc has OS on separate SSD.Music on an 8TB SSD.Checked noise from computer on scope very very low.??? Not sure what the problem would be.

It indicates that you literally have no audio device, how is that possible?
OOPPPSS the power to the DAC was off
Not a problem, you just have to power it on, select in Audirvāna and send the debug info

Hi @Hawkeye;
I can see you selected your device but no sample rate is sent by him to Audirvāna Origin. Do you know if the device has a firmware update waiting to be installed?
Hi the Device is up to date .Am about to install new speakers and preamp etc so system down at the moment.Now trying to get my Samsung Tablet S to connect as a remote no go but my cheap phone works ok??? So much to learn so little time to enjoy .
Have you tried to clear the cache of your App before trying to connect again? Here is how to do this:
Yes tried all that and more still no go. For interest I installed J river remote Gizmo and it worked fine.Seems its the software thats the problem.
We are working on improvements for connectivity, if you are interested, we can add you to the list of beta testers when it will be live fore testing?
Yes happy to help
Can you please send a mail at [email protected] with the mail we will need to use to add you to the beta test list?
Hi
Well I have found out what is causing scratchy playback on some music files.Files are Wav64 !!! it does try but with noise.So will have to convert 8tb of music to wav!!! now to find a decent converter that will handle a large number of files.???
Re remote problem it appears that my Sansung s tablet is not compatible with Audionirvana.I tried a later model Samsung and it works fine.Sure having fune NOT!!! but Audionirvana sounds superb compared with other types.
Interesting, can you send le one of those files at [email protected]? If the file is more than 20MB, please send me mail and I will give you a link to upload it
