@Antoine, as far as I watched, the progress bar changes almost instantly from black to grey, especially in PC environment connected through wired LAN. It moves relatively slowly in Android remote app connected via Wi-Fi.
An obvious question… are you running the latest Topping ASIO driver version 5.74? hard to tell from the Debug Info.
And a second obvious question… does the same issue occur when streaming over Chomecast to your JBL Authentic speaker and by passing the DAC? Just to see if the issue is related to the Topping DAC alone or not as the case may be…
Hi @Djm1960, I’m using Topping ASIO driver version 5.74.0.
Regarding the second question, I did not and will not dare to try streaming through JBL Authentic speaker, because the speaker is located in my son’s room. But switching to other output may be interesting thing to try and I will try using default windows output to my Yamaha receiver instead of Topping DAC.
I wouldn’t trust the Yamaha to support UPnP transmission from Audirvāna…

Can you go into the Audirvāna settings and in the My Account section? You will see a ‘Start Log Session’ button; click on it and reproduce your issue. After you reproduce it, click 'Stop Log Session’ and send me the audirvana_studio.log file you can find by clicking the 'Open Log Folder’ button at [email protected]
Hi @Antoine, I just sent you the log file. The last session starts with Topping E70 Velvet DAC using ASIO and ends with kernel streaming audio device in PC (AMD High Definition Audio Device) connected to Yamaha receiver via HDMI.
Hi @Djm1960, interestingly, there was no skipping when I listen to 24 tracks “Children’s Album’“ in Trifonov’s new album using kernel streaming on board audio device connected to Yamaha, whereas there was one skipping(14th track) for the same 24 tracks when I used Topping DAC. I’m not sure if it stems from the communication problem between Audirvana and Topping DAC or just coincidence, and I need to try more tracks with default audio device connected to Yamaha to see if there is no skipping with this combination. Thank you for suggesting!
Thanks for the logs, will try to review them with Damien as soon as I can.
Hi @Antoine, @Djm1960, and all,
I finally got to know when I changed output interface from ASIO to WASAPI there has been no skipping tracks at all. (except just one case: it was not a skipping actually, but switching to next track as soon as first one starts to be played.)
I don’t know why there is skipping tracks when I used ASIO, but I guess there is some problems in the driver of Topping E70 Velvet DAC or communication between Audirvana ASIO protocol and Topping DAC. But anyway I’ve got to know where the problem was and I will not use ASIO anymore until this problem is solved, by Audirvana or Topping.
Thank you.
@electman
Is the DAC using the latest E70 VELVET V1.07 firmware update ?
and are you using the V5.74 driver for most of TOPPING DACs ?

Hi @Agoldnear ,
I’m using Topping E70 Velvet V1.07 firmware and V5.74.0 driver.
