Song numbering and sequence after import is messed up

The numbering of songs in the UI seems to be messed up. ** All songs from the source folder are there ** but the numbering looks like this …

Any help would be much appreciated. Have deleted and rebuilt the library several times as well as completely uninstalled the product. Thanks.

Can you check the complete path of two duplicated tracks?
To do this, you can use the track details panel (Icon label :label: after selecting a track).

If for two duplicated tracks the locations are different, this means these are duplicated files on your disk.
You may then want to check if you can delete one copy.

Thanks Damien. Getting more and more interesting …

If you see the image below … I have selected the first track and it shows a different path than the title. The is right track is played (01 Tie …) but the title displayed on the left is wrong.

I cannot paste 2 images … but if I display the details on the second track (which has the same title as the first) … the path is different (/Volumes/Media/Music/FLAC/QUeen/A Day At the Races/02 You …) and yes it does playback the right track.

Curious that the path data is correct but the display metadata is messed up.

Remove the cuesheet from the folder, resync all is good no?
