Can Audirvana Origin or Studio play music on Sonos speakers? If so how?

Are Sonos speakers UPNP compliant?
Sonos gear uses elements of UPnP for device discovery, but in my own experience you cannot play music via that route.
As far as I am aware a number of Sonos devices support Airplay. I use a Mac so connecting to an airplay compatible speaker is a case of selecting the airplay device using the sound icon in the menu bar. Audirvana will then show an option in device selection for Apple Airplay, select this and I can play to the airplay device. Not sure how this is achieved in windows…
