been using audirvana studio and Qobuz with no issues for many months, last few days have seen album and artist lists become only sortable by date added and play next track button when album finished refuses to be unticked, any ideas

Can you send a screenshot of the whole interface of Audirvāna while you have your issue?
A screenshot of the whole interface, i don’t understand what you mean by the whole interface, the problem persists, albums and artists revert back to being listed by date added immediately after changing the sort criteria and play next track button refuses to be unticked.
I’m assuming that you know what a screenshot is. What @Antoine is asking you to do is to take a screenshot of what you are looking at on your computer/laptop/iPad/tablet/phone when using Audirvāna and the problem occurs. When you are using the program, that is the UI or User Interface.

which part of studio/renote do you want a screenshot of, the options are many, very many
Where you have this behavior in particular
Will not sort artists or albums by anything other than date added, if i try to change it it won’t let me, will not untick play next track when selection is finished either, really annoying problem, worked flawlessly from the day i got it until this, never had an issue, very nice to use, great features and most important of all sounds excellent but having to search manually on a list for an album or an artist is a pain, i need them back A to Z
I understand what you are talking about, but I would like to answer properly by really seeing your software UI.

@alantb i have attached a few screenshots from my iPad UI that might help you. This is looking at Albums. Where I have marked 1 are the up/down indicator. If you click that you should get the Sort Favorite Albums Options Box. If you click the very small arrow at 2 you will get lol the options and you can select what sort parameters you want as shown in Screenshot 2.
If you still have no joy, click the 3 dots where indicated in 5he last screenshot and you should get the revert option. Press that and restart Studio. Hopefully may assist.
Thanks Chilli tried all that, rebooted etc. nothing seems to work hence why i am puzzled ?

The above are screenshots of albums and artists that will not let me sort any other way, all used to be ok never had any issues but started now ??
Also always reverts back to autoplay even when i deselect it
