Thank you for re-opening my trail for Audirvana Studio. Unfortunately, playback through Chromecast Audio using BubblePnP-server quit instantly on Audirvana 3.5.50 and Studio alike. I did extensive troubleshooting myself,
I restarted macOS 12.01 and restarted BubbleUPnP. I can ‘see’ my Chromecast Audio as my media renderer in its web-console. In Audirvana 3.5…50 and Studio it occurs selectable. Also hear its activating sound as well as changes in volume. I see any changes in track selections in Audirvana within Google Home-app. Audirvana Remote works. The debug info says it is sending a music feed. I see the buffering of the track in Audirvana and Audirvana Remote. My connected amplifier is on and in its proper input setting as I hear sounds from the Chromecast Audio.
The only rather awkward thing is: I DO NOT HEAR ANY STREAMED MUSIC from Audirvana!!! It worked flawlessly for the last couple of months with version 3.5.50, which is now completely silent too.

Powering off did not work. After restarting everything anew, everything works in both directions from iMac and iPad in Audirvana 3.5.50 as well as Audirvana Remote and Goggle Home. After pushing the play button the file is put in cache, but does not play. Strangely enough, Airfoil does play the Audirvana content to the Chromecast. I am puzzled massively. What on Earth causes this proper and confusing inconvenience?
I have just done a log-in for Audirvana Studio and tested all possible connections. Everything works as well as the Airfoil capture as a workaround. Still no direct playing to my Chromecast Audio from Audirvana (Studio). Does anybody here have a clue?
No, I ‘connect’ my Chromecast Audio as media renderer {DNLA) using BubbleUPnP Server. This combination used to work effortlessly till last Thursday. I still can not get my head around this, also because at least in Audirvana 3.5.50 no actual changes were made.
As a miracle, Audirvana regained its link with my streaming set-up. I am now enjoying music streamed with Audirvana 3.5.50 and Audirvana Studio. Audirvana Remote is not respomNding as it should. Just updated to iPadOS 15.2. I will restart at both ends to see whether it’s proper interaction is reinstated. @bitracer Thank you for your help and support.
