Tidal Autoplay doesn't work

Tidal Autoplay is selected in Streaming Preferences but doesn’t kick in after an album from my local library played it’s last song. The function did work on Roon but after I switched to Audirvana I was not able to get it working.
I’m running Audirvana Studio v 2.2.5 on macOS 12.6.3. Monterey

Try turning off the shuffle function before starting to play the album.

Hi @gravenme,

Do you have this issue whatever the track you try to play?

Thanks for the feedback,
I did upgrade to 2.2.7 , unfortunately to no avail. I don’t use shuffle when playing my own albums. Autoplay doesn’t work no matter which album I play.

That’s strange tho, you may have already done this but, have you disconnected and reconnected your Tidal account from Audirvāna Studio?

Yes I did, also after the upgrade. Should a reinstall be considered, I just wanted to make sure that it all works before my trial periods are over.

You can reinstall it but it if it still doesn’t work, we will need to dig a little bit more so I can try to reproduce your issue.

Reinstall did not do it unfortunately

Can you try to do the same thing as Ive done here:

You can use this tool to do it:

It’s correct that Autoplay doesn’t work if playing a song on an album with multiple tracks.

Unlike single track albums, Autoplay works normally.

This is from a local track, can you do the same from the same track I played from Tidal?

By default I play the whole album, not just a track…then I expect after playing the whole album that Tidal kicks in and continues with similar genre music.

Yes, from the album in Tidal, not Local.

I got you!! So autoplay doesn’t work after playing one’s own album. So I misunderstood it’s function in Audirvana.

It does but in your case there is more involved here. It seems your tracks have not been analyzed by the software.

Can you send us a copy of the “Debug Info” when you have this issue? You can get it in Audirvana Settings>My account

Note: By clicking on the Debug Info button, Audirvana automatically copies all its content, all you have to do is paste it in response to this message

Hope this helps:

Can you please remove this folder to be synced and add it again? After adding it, can you check if you have tracks with no Musicbrainz ID in the Metadata recovery section?

Work in Progress

Removed and reinitialised the music folder.
Over 8000 tracks with no MusicBrainz ID after 99% audio files analysed.
Result, Autoplay doesn’t work with local albums… only Tidal albums.
