i tried with internal output of MAC , no issues, continious playing, only issue is with Audiolab

Are you using the latest firmware version for your Audiolab? If it’s the case you should contact them as it’s a bug in their UPnP implementation since the clock set by your DAC while it play a song is not properly set.

yes latest version. I will contact them. Thanks for help!

Hi together, I recently bought an Audiolab 6000A Play (latest firmware) which has the same streaming components as the 6000N and I have the same bug. I will contact Audiolab if they already know about this issue and if they plan to launch a firmware update soon. I will let you know. @Barkin_Yazicioglu would be great if you could share with us, too.

certainly! I will keep you posted if i find a solution

Hi again,

I have been testing both DLNA/UPNP and casting from Tidal (albeit without MQA decoding) via Mconnect ,BubbleUpnp, Hi-Fi Cast (and naturally DTS Play-Fi) : all of them able to play both Tidal and my hi-res files flawlessly over my Audiolab 6000N both via wired and wifi connections, without interruptions, as requested. This makes me think something is wrong with Audirvana, as something is lost between my Mac and Audiolab device. Even Bubbleupnp is installed on my Synology NAS and working without issues. So please Damien have another look at this matter; thank you.

Same problem here. I use Audiolab 6000n DAC with cat6 cable, MacbookPro with Big Sur and ac wifi connection. My connection is perfect but the audio stops randomly. Any news about the bugfix?

Same here with the 6000N stops about 20 seconds from the end of any track selected. Window 10 fresh build latest Audirvana. Wired or wireless. No up sampling. Changed buffer, it’s not resources as I can see from perfmon there’s hardly anything being used by Audirvana.

I so want this to work as I cannot stand play FI.

Can we take another look. Audiolab should help us as quite a few have returned their units due to Play-Fi man in the middle streaming and no gapless playback strangely omitted from the reviews.

Audirvana is one of the only options I have for direct tidal or quobuz. You could clean up especially if gapless works too.

As an aside I believe the DMR capability was only introduced by play-FI in 5.2. Under ‘Bonus Features’

I stream to a Pi with moode fine. It’s something to do with Audirvana and the 6000n.

I’m not sure which end or both seem incompatible for some reason. I don’t think it’s a biggie to
Fix. I will definitely subscribe as I’m in trial espy for this purpose.

Russ

Ok it’s 34 seconds from the end for me almost every time. Sometimes 35. I have taken the app out of the equation and streamed from the desktop. Same
Thing. Odd.

Unfortunately it will require support from DTS (maker of Play-Fi). Since they support a large number of manufacturers, it’s unlikely that any change will be rolled out without substantial testing effort. This means that even with the best intentions it’s not something that will happen soon.

That’s the disadvantage when a hardware manufacturer purchases a software platform as a product from the third party. They’re fully dependent on them.

On the positive note, since the HEOS software is based on this, once these UPnP issue are resolved with Play-Fi, also the HEOS problems will be solved.

Thanks, in the meantime I have used a usual suspect and streaming fine to the 6000n without Play-Fi with open home.

I’ll check back in a year

Cheers
