Willing to give this a try, however, the experience so far is like a science experiment with endless hurdles. Nothing works (streaming is all I’m interested in and signed up for Tidal) so far and posting my debug here in case anyone has a succinct way to overcome these problems? Hello @liveaudio,

You need a active subscription to Tidal to be able to streaming through Audirvana. Can you log to your Tidal account on their website and check the subscription status you have?

Thanks for getting back Damien, yes I have a trial subscription in force at Tidal. I am also keen to have Amazon HD streaming and YouTube music streaming both run through your application but it’s not self evident on how to make that happen. But again, yes, I have a Tidal subscription in trial mode.

is it a Tidal HIFI trial?

Yes, Tidal hi-fi. Ultimately I would like to get Amazon ultra HD and a couple of other streaming sources to run through your application also.

What do you have displayed in tidal website for your subscription?

As before, my Tidal subscription is an in-force ‘free-trial’. My other outstanding questions remain, namely how do I get AmazonHD and other streaming content to stream through your platform?

Why does every aspect of Audirvana seem so fantastically buggy? Your help pages are filled to the brim with people commenting on this. Properly done there should be an app download, a couple of clicks and it just works across numerous hard/software environments. Amazon is a good example of a site that posses few problems while doing things vastly more involved than streaming music. Please let me know if the problems lies with all of your users or perhaps just me? I am teed up and ready to support you in numerous ways but so far everything is just so buggy and unstable. Really wishing you good luck and good fortune. Thank you.

The only way to get AmazonHD streaming content wold be to implement it in Audirvana. It has been requested by many users but for the moment we can’t give you information about it as amazon seems to be focused on Hardware implementation.

Every aspect? Every issue is different from one to another. Since every manufacturer have it’s own way to implement UPnP for example, this is the major part of issues we get since it’s handled on their part and Audirvana rely on it.

As we told you previously, if you are in a trial state on Tidal website, you won’t be able to stream Tidal in Audirvana, you need a activate subscription to stream Tidal content in Audirvana.
