Audirvana Studio 1.2 / Windows 10 19042
I set my Tidal streaming to a maximum of “lossless” as I’m uninterested in MQA, but playing back MQA tracks in WASAPI mode still unfolds them:
Unrelated, but in this picture I’m technically using my Goodherz CanOpener VST3 plugin. Audirvana Studio just chose to ignore it and say there’s no signal processing going on.
Same problem on v. 1.3
If it‘s MQA file it will unfold, unless you set your DAC to MQA decoder.
It shouldn’t if you set the maximum quality of Tidal’s streaming to “lossless” as I did.
Audirvana 3.5 handles this correctly.
Aha, that was your point. You’re correct, there is another thread about this. Apparently @Antoine acknowledged that there is an issue and it will be fixed in upcoming release.
