When searching in Japanese, the search cannot be performed in a single entry

When searching, after typing a letter and pressing enter, I have to type more letters, press space, or do something else to search
I would appreciate an improvement if possible.

Do you only have this behavior when you search with Katagana, or do you also have this with Romanji letters?
