Where's my phone?

I am tired of plexamp’s search not working through Android Auto, so I am interested in seeing how Audirvana does.

I installed Audirvana Studio on my Ubuntu 22.04 LTS server without any issues.

I installed Audirvana Remote on my Android phone from the Google Play store.

I have many questions from this point, and documentation is essentially nil.

  1. How do I add my phone as an audio device? The only device listed is my AVR.

  2. Why am I seeing nothing but errors after adding my music folder? I mean, lots and lots of errors - here is a sample:

Note: Illegal Audio-MPEG-Header 0xffe605c3 at offset 10729.
Note: Trying to resync…
Note: Skipped 285 bytes in input.

and another:

Warning: Xing stream size off by more than 1%, fuzzy seeking may be even more fuzzy than by design!

and another:
[/home/damien/Documents/devel/Audirvana/linuxbuild/extern/sources/mpg123/src/libmpg123/src/libmpg123/parse.c:wetwork():1349] error: Giving up resync after 1024 bytes - your stream is not nice… (maybe increasing resync limit could help).

Ok - I give up. It looks like Audirvana only works on a local network and never through a phone. This won’t work for me.
