in some cases while playing an Album or a Playlist, a song is abruptly interrupted before it ends and the next one begins immediately.
same issue on Linux Raspberry
No, not Linux or Raspberry.
Mac os Audirvana Studio
So both, Linux and MacOS …
@Antoine is on midsummer Bridge, isn’t he?
If you’re using UPnP, it’s a well-known issue for many years (I have it since 2018, yay), it’s a bit depressing to see the team unable to fix it. Many many topics talk about it (and no definitive fix so far, theres an option in the settings you can try, but for me it didn’t change anything). If it’s local play though, that’s more special.
Thank you very much. What’s option?
In Settings > Audio > on the right side you’ll see your device, click on the cogwheel, and you will see options to try to fix playback issues.
I am experiencing the same issue in Windows 11. I have experienced it in the past and then the issue would go away in a few days. No fix I tried would correct it. About every third song would abruptly end and then skip to the next song. It is so frustrating that I am thinking of not renewing Studio next time and trying Jplay.
Yes, it’s very strange
@Antoine, where are you?
@Angelos58 It is weekend. @Antoine will probably react on monday.
Hi @Angelos58,
do you have this issue with those specific albums/tracks each time you try to play them to your ZEN DAC 3?
It’s a random behavior
If you don’t have plugin enabled, do you have the behavior?
Yes, without plugins
Ok, what sample rate and file type do you have the issue with?
Qobuz Streaming.
