After seemingly smooth installation under Windows, Audirvana blocks the output to my speakers

Hi, I am a newbie here, who would highly appreciate your advice.

Our main audio system is in the living room. However, I spend many hours in my study room, working on my PC running under Windows 10, so I decided to upgrade the associated mini audio system to a ‘nearly hifi’ level.

My PC is custom-built, driven by an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X CPU, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB NVMe, etc.

The sound card is Asus Essence STX II, the line output of which is connected to pair of active speakers (Presonus Eris-E45). Today I found Audirvana’s website and downloaded to the trial version.

The installation was quick and smooth, my music database was found correct, and there was no need for its defragmentation.

However, when I started using Audirvana’s player, my speakers got muted…
