I was hoping that Audirvana 3.0, which is overall great, would include a feature that is not used much but relative easy to include: the altering of the play counter.
The play count is not in any of the tags in the physical file (I even checked the advanced tags in MP3Tag), but probably in the database. I know there are programs to alter the SQLite database, but that is not the way to go as so many things can go wrong if you start to alter values outside of Audirvana.
Could at any stage an option being included to easy alter the play-counter of files (either to reset it to 0 or any higher value).
I have many smart playlists that, for instance, contains the rules ‘Artist equals xxxx’ AND ‘play count equals 0’. Songs that I listened to then disappear from the smart playlist. Some entries in certain albums are uninteresting in advance and can not be removed from the smart playlist unless I have to ‘smart play’ a piece of the beginning and the last seconds of the end. Just altering the counter would be easiest.
