Can I use an Apple IR Remote (handheld device) to operate playback features on Audirvana? There is an “on” “off” switch specifically for the Apple remote in Audirvana but when switched “on” the remote does not work. How can I make it work?
Is your Mac capable to receive IR signals?
Newer models arn’t capable.
So you have to buy a USB dongle. I’m happy with Flirc USB.
Or you use the Audirvana Remote Audirvāna Remote on the App Store on your handy. Then your handy and your Mac have to be in the same Wifi network.
