Audio stops after 1.24 min of playback - A+ 3.5.28 - iFi nano

After resent A+ update audio stops coming from the speakers after 1.24 min of playback when going through ifi nano iDSD (track continues to show running on the screen). Installed new 5.3c firmware which didn’t solve the problem? When playing without nano the track plays all the way through?

A+ is installed on Mac mini and has played fine up until this point?

Would be gratefull for any help to solve the issue

I have the same piece of equipment here, but connected to a W10 laptop. It’s some time that I didn’t use it, so I need to test again. In the meantime I’m curious, you’re playing DSD source file? I own no files but experimented with upsampling and got always nasty popping noises. I understand that this is not your problem, but this difference in malfunction is interesting. I will keep you updated.

Hi BB - have you updated the nano firmware? I seem to remember seeing something in the update notes regarding resolving the popping sound?

the playback issue was the same on both library & Tidal

I did update firmware and driver right from the start. My problem with the popping noises once didn’t exist with a previous version of Audirvana. Sorry haven’t found the right moment to test, yet.:innocent:

I changed to upsampling after I had the issue along with tying other settings. one thing to add is if I go to a new album/track again it will play 1.24min of that track then stop almost like a memory/buff issue?

Have you tried without upsampling? Can you check if you have another software using your audio output at the same time?

I suspect that this is related. When I used my Windows app to convert my DSD files to PCM about 1/3 of my files were converted to PCM files that were 1:24 long. I had to reconvert them twice to fix it. I hope this helps.

Hi - Issue resolved - was an issue with my Anthem Amp which is now resolved and now sounding out of this world - thanks for your help
