Audio units not working in IMac / Catalina

Can’t get audio units to work, with the real time au control turned off it plays the music but The effect is definitely not there. With the real time Au control turned on even the playback just doesn’t work.

In case is something wrong with the AU effect I tried with the Apple ones with the same result.

Hello @prezeus, sorry for the delay, can you try to play a song using iTunes and the Equalizer of iTunes? Are you able to ear the change using the Equalizer? you can enable it here:

Yes, I can hear the change using the iTunes Equalizer perfectly and clearly. There is a 2 seconds delay when I activate it or disable it but it works.

Hello @prezeus, can you try with a different output so we can identify if it’s liked to your DAC?

I already tried the “Salida integrada” (iMac built in speakers) on my iMac as you suggested with the same result remember?
