Audirvana 3.0 looses the wifi connection. That problem didn’t show up with older versions. I use the Windows version.
I have no Problems with Roon, JRiver or Qobuz Connect on the same setup.

Hi @Gustav1 , what do you mean by that? Do you get a special error from the software when it occurs?
Hi Antoine, I mean i just loose the connection. Playing stops, no messages, no errors.Program does not crash. I just have to restart playback. Works again for a couple of minutes. I dont loose the connection with other software mentioned above. Two of them also use UPNP protocol.. Just Audirvana decided to be the troublemaker. All my devices are up to date. Latest software is installed.
Can you go into the Audirvāna settings and in the My Account section? You will see a ‘Start Log Session’ button; click on it and reproduce your issue. After you reproduce it, click 'Stop Log Session’ and send me the audirvana_studio.log file you can find by clicking the 'Open Log Folder’ button” at [email protected].
To be more precise: My PC, which has Audirvana installed, is in a different room. The PC is connected via lan cables to the cable modem. The cable modem is connected via wifi to an accesspoint. The accesspoint ist connected via Lan to a Sonore optical rendu device.
Please expect the log file earliest tomorow.
Thanks for the link. Appreciated.
My personal perspective on local-area networked digital-audio playback schemes, especially complex configurations with and without Wi-Fi is that they must be managed so to mitigate ground-differential noise (ground-loops) where these potentials exist anywhere in the network architecture… In the case of LAN Wi-Fi transmission of digital-audio, the choice of 2.4GHz carrier frequency will provide a better QoS as it is less susceptible to physical interference potentials, while providing plenty of bandwidth for any digital-audio signal… Latency across a network is another aspect of the architecture to consider… more transitions, more potentials for induced latency and intrinsic noise.
Keep it simple…
