Audirvana and LMS

Hi:

I a new user in Audirvana. For some years (15) I have been using an LMS server with a Squeezebox 3 (SB3) from SlimDevices/Logitech. Now I have all my music in a Synology NAS…

I want to setup the music Aurdirvana folder where the LMS folder is located. Could this damage my music folder? Does Audirvana write some data in the music folder?

Don’t worry, Audirvana will cache the metadata of the files in a local database. It won’t touch the files in any way.

It only touches the files if you edit the metadata in Audirvana or rate songs.
