I’ve used Audirvana for several years now and am generally happy with it. We see regular updates which is great, but as time goes by will OSX 10.11.x still be compatible ?
I use a dedicated Mac Mini, which has been reliable but is 10 years old now. Moving to Sierra isn’t officially supported. It is basically at the minimum hardware requirements for Audirvana.
Will Audirvana require 10.12.x at some point as a minimum platform ? I suppose this question is really directed at @Damien .
Hello @airdronian, I understand your concern about the minimum requirement of Audirvana for Mac. For the moment we don’t see why we would change this OSX minimum but we recommend to use the latest version (if possible) for the fix of different bug of previous version of OSX.
OK, thanks for the info. I had asked the question because I had just tried to update another app on this machine, and it now requires 10.12.x and above. So that made me curious.
