This might be a stupid question - please be patient with me!
I have read that it’s best to leave the Audirvana output gain at 0dB in order to preserve the integrity of the signal.
When I connect my Macbook to my Scarlett 18i20 interface, I can hear some clipping. The meters on the MixControl app also run into the red, slamming hard.
Is there an ideal way to lower the signal level to Scarlett? Or some other solution?
Or should I just turn it down in Audirvana?
