Library rescans used to happen automatically on app start or on connection. Nothing I do now seems to activate the network library scan feature and I have no way of adding new music to the library other than manually. A+ v3.0.6 and .7.

No. Network Scan works fine on my system (Power-LAN, music files located on a Mac mini with attached external HDD, client: MacBook Pro, MacOS Sierra 10.12.5 / Audirvana 3.0.7 3011 running on both computers).

seems to be intermittent. Two successful startups with library scans on my Macbook running 10.12.5. Frustrating, but glad it worked!
