Audirvana on Raspberry Pi

Pretty deep, but you can go as deep as you want. You can configure pretty much everything using Winbox.

It’s very powerful, and there are no artificial software license limitations.

Do they offer any ISL that doesn’t lean on 802.11s/w? Do they support MAC in UDP (VXLAN?)

MikroTik supports the 802.11Q standard. It doesn’t support Cisco Encapsulation Inter Switch Link (ISL), but there are ways around it depending what you want to achieve. As for VXLAN, it’s supported in 7.0 version of RouterOS which is in Beta at the moment.

I suggest we take this discussion to the MikroTik forum. I’m also active there.

Yes - I have just installed on Win11 (Raspberry PI4; 4GB)
KERNEL STREAMING mode; Qobuz 24/192 plays flawlessly with no any distortions.
No any DSP at all of course.

With gentooplayer on RPI4, some solutions work great

  • UPmpdcli & mpd (24/192, DSD 64) (UPnP)
  • Asio Diretta Driver on PC and Target on RPI
  • Gmediarender (UPnP)

All tested.
