Audirvana Origin Core on Linux unable to change synced folders

Hi.

Relatively new installation on a Raspberry Pi 5 (Raspberry Pi OS). I recently set it up as a systemd service running under an Audirvana user. All is working well, except syncing.

I have a folder added for ‘/’ that I want to remove (the whole filesystem). I am unable to remove this folder from the remote app. Clicking “Remove” (or Delete), the folder remains.

My actual sync directory is in ‘/mnt/music’. I don’t seem to be able to sync this right now. I’ve added some new folders and they’re not showing up.

I have a stuck Sync Progress Bar in the remote that never moves.

I did see the other thread that mentions the stuck progress bar and there’s a beta version from last year, but wondered if there was another update available.

I plan on spending a little time troubleshooting this weekend, and hopefully can add more details then.

Hi @robcee , it’s something I talked about with Damien, but we have not found the time to look over this.

When you are in this case, you must remove the Audirvāna database file, which is in ~/.local/share/audirvana

I’ll take a look and give this a try. Thanks @Antoine !

wiped-out the sqlite database and journal and we are syncing again. Hopefully this doesn’t reoccur. It can be costly if I have to recreate playlists and favorites every time this happens.

cheers.

this seems to be working well now. Syncing works (and is much quicker for a couple of added albums).

@Antoine Do we know what caused the problem initially? I’m not sure if it’s when I added the Audirvana user and app to systemd or if it happened sometime after that.

I’m wondering if it was during a system event where I lost my mounted music drive or something.

anyway, looks good for now! thanks again.
