Audirvana Origin cuts out after a couple of minutes

Hi there,

Origin is cutting out a couple of minutes into a tune. It the can’t be restarted without closing the app and starting again. Unfortunately, the same thing then happens.

I’d be grateful for any help with this. I’ve payed my debug info below. Cheers

Reduce the pre-load cache to 4000MB.

Thanks Bitracer. I’ve done as you advised but it’s still cutting out. Any other ideas?

Paul

Are you playing to KEF LSXs or Peachtree?

Hi Bitracer. I’m playing to a peachtree integrated DAC/amp via usb. Audirvana was working fine but I didn’t use it for a couple of months and now I have this problem. I switched off integer mode but that made no difference.

Thanks for your help/time with this.

Regards

Paul

How does your system perform without SoundFlower involved…? Start from a basic set-up with computer/Audirvana connected to your DAC (no intermediary software running)…

Thanks for your response agoldnear. Not near my computer at the moment but will look into this tomorrow and post back. Not sure how to remove SoundFlower from the system though.

Cheers

Paul

Hi Agoldnear, I was going to uninstall SoundFlower but got confused a bit at the Terminal stage so chickened out. However I did get as far as deleting the ‘Soundflower.kext’ file from library and now everything is working fine so I’ll leave as is I think.

Thanks

Paul
