Hi:
I believe the tracks under /home/audirvana/Music need metadata revisions to display tracks by album correctly on the remote app. The remote app shows multiple copies of each album with some of the tracks in one and others in the duplicate. Is there a preferred/recommended cli tool to manage the metadata for various audio files?
Many thanks,
Tom
Mount the disk over the network using cifs and use an app like MusicBrainz Picard to edit the metadata.

@jmtennapel I was advised recently to use NFS as that was more Linux based. Haven’t gotten around to implement this yet. Why do you advise cifs (SMB) ?
To mount the (headless) linux computer on another machine, independent of operating system, and use MusicBrainz Picard on that machine to edit the metadata. It has a command line interface as well if you prefer that.
Since the OP asks for a CLI way to edit metadata, I guessed his linux machine is headless, and he knows his way around Linux.
