I’m new so I say hello to all the users of the community.
I would like to ask a question about using Audirvana Origin and Chord Poly + Mojo 2 via UPnP.
Audirvana Origin 2.5.10 sees the Poly correctly and I can play music without any problem, all the commands respond except for the progress bar.
When I try to drag the slider forward or backward, the music simply continues playing without any skipping. The Play, Stop, Pause, Forward and Back buttons all respond, only the progress bar does not respond if dragged.
Let me revive this question a bit. I’ve got the same problem. What I find fascinating; although the Poly is Audirvana Ready (kind of what Roon does) it does not really fully work. Weird… I would like to use Audirvana but this stopt me and I’m now using Roon… Are there more people that have this problem or is it just MhRADCOre and me?
I had already sent you my Debug Info in a long discussion we had via email but unfortunately you were not able to resolve it and you left me telling me that you would contact Chord for the solution but unfortunately no solution has arrived yet. The thing that leaves me most perplexed is that Poly is certified to work perfectly with Audirvana but it is not.
I also noticed that I can work around the issue by re-sampling the PCM stream to DSD64. Also, DSD files play back without any issue. It might help Antoine or anybody else who does not mind to resample.
Hi guys, I emailed Chord about the situation with the Ploy; it seems that they had an issue with deplaying the latest 3.2.5 update and ran into a long process to change their infrastructure.
The update will soon be available, but I can’t tell you when.
The thing that leaves me perplexed is that with Roon via uPnP (not Roon RAAT) the transport bar and all the other commands work fine, while with Audirvana the transport bar does not work.
As for updates, unfortunately Chord is very slow in releasing them and lately they are having serious problems with the update servers, I was one of the lucky few to manage to update to the latest version 3.2.4, before the problems started.
