iMac 2015 vs fantec HDD with raw HDMI
Ok so I have flac audio files which I use from a Seagate drive plugged into a 2015 iMac via usb . (Audirvana is played to marantz sr 7013 via digital out put on back of iMac)
I also have a fantec media Aluplay 3D player that supports
Flac which also takes a seagate Disk drive 4TB that’s also connected to the marantz amp
However this supports hdmi out (raw)
So my question is should I use the hdmi out or the digital out - is the dac on iMac better than hdmi raw
