Audirvāna plays too fast

I’ve been evaluating the trial software on the new mac mini m1. What I have found is that all my alac files 16/44.1 khz are playing to fast and hence too high. I started evaluating on instrumentals and so didn’t notice. But now I’m listening to vocals and it is definitely an issue. I’ve confirmed by playing the files through other software and also playing the original cds directly.

Any ideas?

Which DAC you have? Try to toggle the integer mode on/off.

I’m outputting from the mac mini m1 through hdmi to my denon X2300w receiver and letting its DAC convert the pcm signal. Since that output path works correctly for Vox and iTunes, I feel it has to be in the conversion to pcm.

Integer mode does not seem to be able to be toggled.
