Audirvana skips first track on the Blue Coast

When I play the Blue Coast Mutineer album on my Apple iPad using Audirvana Release 2.11.1 (it accesses Qobuz) on my Infigo Audio IS-1 Streamer (UNIX), it skips the first track. I DELETED the Mutineer album, rebooted my iPad and the steamer, accessed the Mutineer playlist and it still skips the first song. All my other albums play the first song.

I can play the Blue Coast Mutineer album perfectly on my MAC computer and on my iPhone. When I play the Blue Coast Mutineer album using my iPad using Audirvana (it accesses Qobuz), it skips the first track.

It sounds like an Audirvana / Qobuz playback issue rather than a problem with the album itself, especially since the same album starts correctly on my Mac and iPhone but not on the iPad. Thoughts?

If you browse the other player forums you will see that they are also suffering issues. Qobuz are currently migrating their server data to the cloud over several months which is causing playback issues for many users across most playback apps. A quick google search on this will lead to more information. An example below

ā€œQobuz is currently undergoing a major, multi-month infrastructure migration, moving its servers to the cloud to enhance service quality and scalability

As of late March 2026, this process is causing temporary, widespread issues for users, including playback dropouts, skipping tracks, and general connectivity problems with third-party audio players and streamersā€

Thank you very much. Do you have any info when the Qobuz to Cloud migration will be completed?

No, they just state several months.

Thanks. Based on your above response, I find it strange the skipped first track only appears on the Blue Coast Mutineer album. You would think it would occur on other albums. In my case, the skipped track happens on the one above album that I just made a favorite. I assume because I JUST made it a favorite is what is causing the skipped track. Thoughts?

Cant really comment as I do not stream with Qobuz from AS. I have a sublime subscription which I use on the Qobuz app on my ipad to to discover new music which I purchase and install in my local library. Qobuz is connected to AS for the album reviews and artists bios only.

This thread has some information Qobuz "Error loading track" on first tracks of many albums - #10 by Jud . Would also suggest you look at the hundreds of posts on the Roon forum from users with similar issues to yours and see if they match your experience.

I’ve seen this happening more lately, being tracks not available & login credentials not being remembered. I didn’t realize they’re moving their infrastructure to the cloud, but that makes sense given the degraded service the last month or so.

Nothing to do with any action in Audirvana. Strange coincidence, but coincidence. The problem is at Qobuz’ end.

Well, performance here in Audirvāna is still quite ok compared to others.

USB Audio Pro has a lot more issues in my own experience and I’ve read that specific brands of hardware don’t have Connect even working anymore at all. Although with issues, I still manage to play music with Connect over my Naim streamer.

But it sure is far below par what Qobuz is showing in their service at this moment.
