Hello @Crazyclif,

Can you send us a copy of the “Debug Info” when you have this issue? You can get it in Audirvana Settings>My account

Please remove the line corresponding to your logged-in account to avoid displaying your email address and first name/last name publicly.

Note: By clicking on the Debug Info button, Audirvana automatically copies all its content, all you have to do is paste it in response to this message

I may be missing some context here, but to me it sounds like Crazyclif isn’t reporting an issue per se, just asking for guidance on configuration settings, to get the best sound quality with his Topping D90se DAC.

@Crazyclif
I’m using the Topping D90 myself (the previous version with AK4499 DAC chip), and also the MQA-free version, so your situation may be slightly different. Personally, I choose to bypass all EQ, conversions and volume control in the D90 by setting it to DAC mode and feeding it DSD256 from Audirvana. I’m using the r8brain upsampler, with linear phase.

I’m not doing this to be “bit-perfect” (I also apply room correction EQ in Audirvana using filters computed by REW), but I believe any adjustments are better done in software on a powerful CPU than in hardware on a resource-strapped DAC chip or FPGA.

Perhaps you can ask questions about the specific config settings you’re unsure about?

I wanted to see the current settings he has, nothing more

Hi and good morning Antonio I’m sorry to say I don’t have a clue what your talking about ill have my son try and help me and I’ll get back too you than you very much for your help regards D

Good morning Dotnet ,you are absolutely correct I’m looking for the best settings or the proper settings to get the best out of audervana and the topping D90se and tidal thanks for your help regards D

There is most likely not one “best” set of settings, but rather multiple sensible or reasonable ways of configuring Audirvana. I gather that Antoine (the developer of Audirvana) wants to see how you’ve set it up so far and make suggestions starting from there.

Rather than asking you to go through the various configuration screens and describing the settings, Antoine has a built a feature into the software that takes a complete snapshot of your settings, the relevant hardware specs of your computer and what Audirvana has detected about your DAC – all with a single click. His comment about deleting a line before posting it here is to protect your privacy, most people don’t feel comfortable exposing their names or email addresses on Internet forums.

Thanks Dotnet, I will do my best to get that posted ,I’ll get my son to help me and again thank you so much for your help regards D p.s. later today when I have more time I’ll text you and Antonio what I have in my system even though I believe that’s what the program Antonio installed in audervana will do but I don’t think it will tell you everything or is that smart regards D

If you happen to be on a MAC it’s very easy. On a PC too, but then it’s in the settings.

Thank you Jacob

How do I send the debug info Antonio ,I found it but can’t figure out how to

send it

Antonio I noticed it says tidal is set to hifi but that’s not correct it should be set to master or should I say it’s detecting hifi when it should detecting master quality

It’s copied to clipboard paste into your email to support

Go into preferences, Streaming, Dropdown next to your Tidal account, set to master

Good luck with your new system !

Thanks offroad , I’ve already done

:+1:t2:

Working well now ?

What I guess I should have said was is ive had that set to master already, it may be that it’s detected a song that is only in hifi but hey it sounds great I’m just trying to get it to its full potential, ive got a peachtree intergrated grand x1 driving a pair of goldenear triton ones with an accuphase c200 and p 300 driving Bozak concert grands and I switch from it to a prima lune dialogue hp amp when I want to hear the tubes I also have an sp 14 hand made from Canada
