Audirvana UPnP behavior

Please repair Audirvana’s UPnP behavior.
It is simply not working. I have to restart Roipieee and Optical Rendu each and every time i want to use Audirvana Studio. Trying to stream HRA is a game of luck, after one year of Studio development.
I will not extend my subscription, if these basics aren’t resolved. I will check back in September.
This has completely soured my Audirvana experience.
JRiver works flawless. So it is an Audirvana problem.

What is the UPnP issue you have? You do not see your device when you want to us them in Audirvāna Studio in UPnP? Are you using the latest firmware version for your Optical Rendu?

I use the latest versions of Optical Rendu and Roipieee. I keep them updated.
Like I said, Audirvana will not start playing files, if I don’t restart these devices.
Audirvana won’t stream from HRA. Sometimes it works, most of the time Not.
I read something like: Could not initialize playback etc…
This behavior is common knowledge in the community. It should not surprise you.
I will resubscribe if and when Audirvana works. I am not a beta tester for basic functions.

Actually it is not common that streaming from HRA do not work or I should have hundreds of request about it each day.

And for the UPnP issue you have that has been ongoing for a long time, have you ever sent your debug info on the forum for example so I can check it out? UPnP is really complex in a lot of ways and in the case of Audirvāna, it rely on the UPnP implementation of your device.

As I said, I try Audirvana again later this year.
Some say, Audirvana is a messy bug ridden…
Right now, I am out.
If it works, I resubscribe.
JRiver works all the time.

I get random disconnects from the Optical Rendu (Signature Rendu SE optical) with every version of Studio. And yes, I have provided the debug info-time for Damien and company to address this issue.

Continuing the discussion from Audirvana UPnP behavior:

After a long time of having no problems running AVS through microRendu by DLNA, it is now shutting down in the middle of playback. The only solution is a complete reboot of microRendu and AVS. Here’s the debug info. The section under ‘Current device MediaInfo’ is what was playing the last time it stopped.

Any advice please??

Has been sent to you various times since 7/2021. At least twice, as you asked for it.
The problem lies in Audirvana, because all other UPnP software work with Optical Rendu and with Roipieee. ONLY Audirvana does not work properly. You will lose many costumers if you choose to let your head stuck in the sand and ignore that long term (already in 3.5) problem.
