Audrivana UPnP via nas files with DCS Rossini

Anyone able to run Audrivana with their DCS Rossini? I have the music files on a Synology running MinimServer?

You never answered the question that I posed in your previous post…
“What does DCS say about UPnP playback via Audirvana?”
This is where you should start… because you have yet to get any feedback from a DCS user applying this playback strategy.

It is not the first time you’ve asked.

If the Rossini shows up as a UPnP output device and it doesn’t work, send an e-mail to [email protected] and attach the debug info. See this article how to get to the debug info: How to see the current configuration of Audirvāna in one click?

You can always connect the PC you are using through USB and test if Audirvana works with the DAC.

The Audirvana settings for the Rossini player are shown at the link below. Have you tried them unsuccessfully?

You keep opening different threads and never responding with your debug information, which makes it difficult to help you. Have you tried contacting Audirvana support?

Audirvana cannot use a upnp mediaplayer , you should define in Audirvana the nas shared folders and use your dcs like a network player (if upnp compliant)

Forgive my ignorance, but what does that mean in functional steps. I have Audrivana synced with my Nas music files? How does the Rossini play them? It was identified as a UPnP drop down menus once?

specifically define where in Audrivana? Using studio on MBP? and Rossini is UPnP compliant

You need to provide more information about your MBP configuration and network configuration… Please provide screenshots of your Network and DAC settings and your Audio MIDI Setup windows, along with your debug information.

Note:
A practical baseline playback set-up scenario would be to connect the DAC to the MBP running Audirvāna via USB (very short in length) and access your NAS music library and synchronize the folders.
