When I select auto detect MQA, the sample rate (under volume control bar in Windows version) remains the same. 44.1 and 48 kHz songs are not unfolded to 88.2 and 96 kHz. But when I turn off auto detect and manually select MQA renderer, it unfolds them as it should.
Do you have an MQA capable DAC?
Audirvana unfolds only if your DAC is not MQA capable or if you have set it to renderer manually.
Yeah it’s a Dragonfly red. Audirvana recognizes it as a renderer when I set to auto detect. But only does the unfold when I manually select MQA renderer.
Yes, there is currently an issue with the MQA capability autodetect. You need to set it manually to MQA renderer and disable the autodetect.
