Benchmark DAC3 and DoP 1.1

I have Benchmark DAC3 and Audirvana is streaming with DoP 1.1 to DAC with USB.

This reply i got from Benchmark support: "Yes, the 2x and 4x lights should be on when a DSD64 file is being played.

Verify that the DAC is in the USB 2 mode. If in the USB2 mode, something is not set correctly in Audirvana."

I have only 16 and 44 lights on so it’s not correctly sending DoP 1.1?

Hi!

Any news regarding this issue? Issue is that i have only lights 16 and 44 on, but 2x and 4x should be on.

Any news Damien?

Is this Audirvana’s fault or something wrong with somewhere else?

Hello all!

After a little break, i am now back at Audirvana and using latest firmware on Benchmark DAC3 HGC, and latest Audirvana software.

Is there any news about this problem / bug? Damien?

You need to set it to DoP 1.0. Make sure software volume control is disabled.

I have tried both 1.0 and 1.1, and software volume control is disabled and tried both asio and wasabi, no luck. Come on Damien, can you shed some light into this?

I have Tidal, is was wondering if it’s Tidal that does not stream dsd?

Tidal do not stream dsd at all …

Are you sure you’re playing DSD files? If it’s shows 44.1 lights on and you’re getting music, it’s that resolution file. It’s not DSD, so it’s normal that DSD lights didn’t turn on.
