Best settings with Cambridge CXNv2 (should I upsample?)

Hi there. I have connected my Cambridge CXNv2 as a UPnP network player. My questions are:

  1. What are the best/preferred settings (under Active Device) in Audirvana 3.5 for this DAC ?
  2. Should I consider forced upsampling to DSD (DAC supports DSD 64) or other forms of upsampling ?

Thank you for sharing your experience and/or suggestions.

PS. Mainly listening TIDAL hifi-subscription

Start with defaults and go from there. You’ll be better off without upsampling, especially for MQA content.

As far as i know CA treats DSD as a PCM stream anyway they don’t process DSD as native

Also once in the CXN it will be upsampled to 24/384 anyway. All CA DACs have this upsampling as standard
