Bluesound Node 2i and Audirvana

Connection with external Audio Devices Streamers

I have been running Audirvana on one system with a Mac and outputting to a USB DAC. I’m looking to setup another system in seperate room using a bluesound node 2i. I’m seeing conflicting info on using Audirvana with the Node 2i. I had hoped to be able to either A connect direct to pc via usb like I do with my other dac and output Audirvana to it usb or connect to it via WiFi or Ethernet. Is this not possible?

The only way to connect to Bluesound devices is AirPlay.
