Buzz and Click noise - Chord Qutest

Hi Damien,

Would like to report that I hear a buzzing noise only when there’s no music playback. When music is playing it goes away but its not a soft buzz and is quite obvious when I’m looking for a song or album to play. Also, when listening to an album continuously I noticed that there’s a clicking sound as one track finishes and a new one starts.

Do I have my settings wrong? Using a Chord Qutest DAC.

Hey,

I had the same problem when using Windows 10 + WASAPI driver (no such problem when using ASIO). After testing a bunch of settings, found that enabling “Using WASAPI large I/O buffer” option would cause the clicking sound issue when pausing (not stopping) or switching to another track. Hope that helps.
