Audirvana crashes when I listen to streaming music (Tidal), this doesnāt happen when I listen to music stored on my iMac. Please tell me how to fix it.
Are you using the latest Cambridge Audio firmware when you have this issue?
it happens even when i listen on the iMac speakers. so i think it is not related to Cambridge
Can you please send us the latest crash report you got from AudirvÄna at [email protected] ?
I have sent the picture, hope to hear from you soon. Thanks!
I want to borrow this thread,
I face the following issue with Audirvana and Cambridge Audio EXN100 with usb connection.
Connection: USB
Mode: Kernel Streaming
Advance Options: Mostly following the recommendation given here.
Issue: I hear a loud clip/pops between tracks.
What I have tried: (but doesnāt help)
Turn on/off volume controls as suggested by other posts.
Turn on/off mute when sample rate change.
It sounds like audirvana is glitching and read silence as a loud clicks, it does feel that way.
Hi, have you tried changing the Kernel Streaming optimization setting from Extreme to Standard?
Yes, Extreme and Standard doesnāt make difference on my hardware.
Im using Intel NUC11i5TNH with 16gb ram.
Nothing else running beside Audirvana, CPU and Memory usage is healthy.
I suppose you donāt have this over WASAPI, am I wrong?
I have not try enough wasapi, let me try it tomorrow and report back.
Yes after extensive hours of listening in WASAPI mode, thereās no clicks and pops between track.
So the issue is exclusive to Kernel Streaming only.
