I have a large collection of albums (over 5000) residing on an external hard disk which are grouped into a number of directories. Under Audnirvana 3.1.518 albums are sorted (1) by album artist and (2) by album title. Can the albums be grouped by the directory names used to classify the albums on disk?

Have you tried using the File Location field?

Thank you for replying.
I tried sorting albums as follows: (1) file location, (2) album artist name, (3) album title.
Using this combination file location does appear in the album grouping setting but the field is blanked and grouping by file location cannot be activated.
