I just want to schedule this by day, week month, to make life more easy. Is that possible now, or in a future release?
Backup programs are created exactly for that reason.
Can’t you just use an external backup program to schedule to copy a backup of the ‘AudirvanaDatabase.sqlite’ file to a backup drive? Why use Audirvana itself for backup purposes?
I have a scheduled backup running every week making a backup of my physical local music library (mostly flac files), Audirvana’s database, Foobar and other important files I have. I simply made a batch file (in Windows) with the necessary commands and scheduled it in Windows Task Scheduler. If that seems to complicated there are plenty of free backup programs capable of making scheduled backups. I would not expect a music player program (like Audirvana, Roon or Foobar etc.) to be capable of that.
Thanks! I mean the backup facility to backup playlists, favorites and so on, inside of Audirvana. The other backup items you mentioned are already in use. It’s not a great need but handy, just as scanning your library each start.
