Cannot open the audio file for playback

I am a user of Audirvana 3.5.50.
I always play sound data ripped from CDs with Audirvana. One of the many sound files is greyed out and when I click on a track, it display “cannot open the audio file for playback". However, it can be played in Music on MAC. What could be the cause?

Hi,
Do you have your audio files stored on the Mac or on a NAS or external HDD?
If they are on an external device, it could be due to Audirvana not able to reach that volume.
What happens if you close and restart Audirvana?
