Can't work with NW-ZX300 like a External DAC

Connection with external Audio Devices USB DAC

I can chose the Sony NW-ZX300 in Audirvana like an external DAC. But there is no sound goes out de headphone. Does anyone know why it doesn’t work?

I use An Apple MBP 2018. All the others external DAC is useful “like Bose USB speakers” except this Sony.

The solution is: in the reference of Walkman, in the end, Activate “software control volume” ! what a mess…
