Typically I stick with native format to playback files but was experimenting with upsampling and found that regardless of how I upsample, when the file is played the channels are reversed. I am using Audirvana to connect to my device via UPnP. My device is a Channel Islands Audio DCM-1. It can handle rates up to 768 kHz and DSD as well. I saw where this problem was reported before but did not see what the solution might be. Hope fully someone can tell me what the problem might be and how to solve it.
