Bonjour,

depuis le début de mon essai d’Audirvana Studio,
je n’ai pas réussi à écouter une seule radio sans coupure du son,
quelque soit les paramétrages effectués (notamment sur la mémoire
tampon). Dois-je abandonner le suréchantillonnage
pour retrouver un flux constant ?

I just subscribed, and I am observing the same issue : once about every two minutes, radio stations would stop playing for anything between 1s to 8s. Same on two different playing set-ups (two laptops with Windows 10 and 11, one with external DAC, the other with just windows and local rendering).

Main Radio stations : France Inter in AAC, Radio Paradise in FLAC, same behaviour.

Anybody to help ?

Does it on FIP AAC 16/48 too (though, seems interrupts are rarer and much shorter).
Tried OUI FM, MP3 16/44 : same thing.

Adding that one laptop runs over Wi-Fi but is 1m from the gateway (W11 Marantz ASIO), the other farther away but on 1GbE (W10 WASAPI).

Access is 2.5GPON with 1Mbs downstream+1Mbs upstream : not an issue in the chain.

Any idea ?

No issue with local albums nor with my Qobuz subscription.

Pouvez-vous aller dans les paramètres audio de Audirvāna Studio dans la partie Chargement Décodage et augmenter la quantité de mémoire maximum allouée à Audirvāna pour 4000MB?

Sur le premier set-up (dans les deux cas, après avoir changé les settings, j’ai quitté l’appli et l’ai relancée).

Les interruptions sont maintenant plutôt de l’ordre du 1/10 de seconde. Arrive parfois au bout de ~15s, mais parfois plutôt après 1min.

Donc, c’est amélioré, mais pas faultless. Je n’ai pas le souci en accèdant à ces radios hors Audirvana.

Si je peux aider plus avant, … Mais je ne vois pas pourquoi vous ne verriez pas le souci depuis vos locaux.

Corrigenda : je viens d’avoir deux interruptions de plusieurs secondes, à l’instant, après avoir posté ma réponse ci-dessus. Rien changé ni rien fait entre temps, sauf que revenu sur l’appli, donc le browser passant en arrière-plan.

Est-ce que ça pourrait être une question de priorité de process ?

Pour info : je viens de déjeuner en écoutant le journal de France inter.
Deux séries de deux interruptions, à chaque fois une courte (1s) et une longue (6s).
Mesures de temps approx. : en comptant lentement…

oui. Il semble qu’il y ait une durée longue et une durée courte. Longue : toujours environ 6s (je compte lentement de 1 à 6, donc 5s en fait).

Ca ne change rien, j’ai toujours des pauses de 6-8 secondes pleines. Toutes les 7 minutes plus ou moins, souvent suivies d’une coupure de 1 seconde ou moins.

Donc, après qqs heures d’écoute : il n’y a plus de longues coupures de 7 secondes, mais encore des glitchs.

Par exemple, là, 3 en deux minutes.
Mais c’est très court. Je pense que j’en ai eu au moins une ou deux sur des fins de chanson, que je n’ai pas identifiées comme telles.

Globalement, personne ne se plaindra, mais il y a encore un souci.

Pardon pour la réponse très tardive (vacances!). Je n’ai plus les longues coupures sur Inter, juste 1 ou 2 glitchs au tout début puis plus rien. Là, je viens de me remettre sur Radio Paradise, et j’ai eu le trou de 8 secondes.

Je ferai des tests plus exhaustifs cette semaine.
